Select and Adjust Photos ( Recomended )

Hello readers, now, I want to try to make more detail tutorial in making WPAP (Wedha's Pop Art Portrait. In the first step You make WPAP, is Select Photo. This is the crucial step in making WPAP. In my opinion, for an amateur or the first time You make WPAP, I suggest you to choose photo in several option. In this part of tutorial, I'll show you several things you have to attention or follow. Check it out!!!

SELECT THE PHOTO

1. You should choose popular person.

Popular person such as : Artists, soccer football, singer, president, legend and so on. Why?

Because, if You choose the popular person, usually your WPAP is easy to know or maybe easy recognizable. So, based on this reason, You will get more confidence to make WPAP again and again

2. Focus on Face

For the first time You make WPAP, or if You are an amateur, I recommend you to select the photo that focus in face. The purpose of this step is to make Your next process (Tracing) easier. Because, if You choose the face photo, You can get T area (eyes, nose, mouth) easier too.

3. NOT recommended to choose the "freak" expression

Select the original expression of Your photo. I don't recommend You to select the "freak" expression such as : duck face, angry, tongue and so on. One reason, why I don't recommend, because If You choose it, You will get a problem to make the mouth (often) or You won't get the similar face between your WPAP and the photo.

4. Your photo is not Blur or has a good quality

It is a clear reason to choose a good photo to make WPAP, because if You select a blur photo, You will get a big problem in tracing process. Choose a good photo with big size and clear photo.

ADJUST THE PHOTO

So, if You have selected your photo, the next step is Adjust Your photo. I use the Coreldraw so I use the menu "Brightness and contrast" to adjust it (CTRL+B)

To adjust your photo, it just take your feel to adjust it. not too light or not too dark. If You setting your photo too dark, or too light, You can find the good coloring in Your WPAP and maybe You also will get a difficult process in tracing.
